David Littlewood

David Littlewood is a bastion of quality Scottish cuisine. Coming from a family in the hotel trade, he began his career in Aberdeen in 2001. Since then, he’s been awarded the accolades of Grampian Chef of The Year and the award for best Intermediate dish at the Scottish Chef of the Year, the title of Scottish Chef Team of the Year and was a runner up in the Scottish Rural Restaurant of the Year. In addition, he is a Masterchef of Great Britain and a past president of the Federation of Chefs Scotland. Throughout his career, David has been an advocate of developing and nurturing future talent in the industry.

David’s ethos is to concentrate on flavours and execution and showcasing high quality local ingredients.

Alexandria Hay

Alex has been a Kildrummy team fixture since 2014;  joining after working with David in other restaurants. Alex has competed at the highest levels of the profession including at the Junior and Senior Grampian Chef of the Year and was the first female chef to win the Pastry Chef of the Year competition. She was a semi finalist at the Academy of Culinary Arts Annual Awards of Excellence in London. She’s also recognisable from BBC Masterchef The Professionals where she was a quarter finalist.

Alex believes in using fresh and seasonal produce bought from local suppliers so you will find the menu at Kildrummy Inn changes on a very regular, sometimes daily, basis.
